Dane County Council of Snowmobile Clubs, WI

Dane County Council is an alliance of all the snowmobile clubs in Dane County, Wisconsin.  The council meets monthly from September-April.  Dane County has 19 clubs in the county with one additional associate club from Columbia County.

The councils purpose is to have a common voice for the Dane County and to represent the county at the state level to AWSC.  We elect a director and representative for this purpose.  We also have a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer with five additional board of directors.

Wisconsin is home to more than 22,000 miles of trails thanks to the efforts of local snowmobile clubs with their tireless volunteers and the support of State and Federal organizaions. Learn more about Wisconsin trails by watching this AWSC 2011 video.

Dane County Capital Youth Snow Blasters

The Dane County area is proud to have its own youth club, for youths ages 12-20. Organized within the past couple of years, this group of energetic youths has its own meetings, officers, fundraisers, and plans its own events. Parents are welcome to join in the fun, but the events are designed for the youth members. Adult advisors assist as needed. New members are required to have completed the snowmobile safety class or be enrolled in a class at the time of a club function or event. For further information, or to join, please contact Meghan Meinholz, 608-767-3956.
